Optical Software Developer
Photon Engineering is not actively pursuing candidates to fill this position. Photon Engineering is only interested in reviewing resumes from exceptionally qualified candidates. Education: BS, MS, PhD in optics, computer science or related field. Proficient with ZEMAX, CODEV, ASAP, FRED or other commercial optical software. Must be fluent in C++ with knowledge of computer graphics, optical algorithms, .NET development, and Microsoft Visual Studio. Must have excellent writing, presentation, documentation and communication skills. US citizenship is not a requirement.
Business Development Engineer
Photon Engineering has an immediate opening for a full time business development engineer. Duties include developing business relationships with prospective and current customers, negotiating technical contracts and business opportunities, attending trade shows, etc. Some domestic and international travel will be required. Must have a strategic business/marketing sense and knowledge of trends in optical engineering. Must have excellent writing, presentation, documentation communication skills. Must be an extrovert and enjoy interacting with people! Education: BS, MS, PhD in optics, computer science or related field. Knowledgeable in ZEMAX, CODEV, ASAP, FRED or other commercial optical software. Position reports to CEO. US citizenship is required. Minimum 10 yrs. experience required.
