Solar Design

Hello,
The main objective of my using this software design Solar Cell using FRED optics Engineering Software. The thing is i am new and I have just install this software. I want to design DBR (Diffraction Bragg Grating) for about 8 layers, AR Coating, Grating. Moreover, Integrating all these by multiply in short maths M-matrix. In last make a source of rays or Gaussian shape Pulse or wave and see behavior. I will use different materials for for (AR COATING AND DBR)
Secondly do u have optimization tools. Can any one help for this
